County Sheriff's Office Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Communications Center. MARcom provides law enforcement dispatch services for approximately 23 different public service entities throughout the County. MARCom is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the entire county. Dispatchers answer all incoming 911 calls for assistance.
MARCom Dispatchers represent the first line of service to our community. Our Dispatch and Communications Center serves a population of approximately 9,500 within a service area of 4,200 square miles. On average, the Communications Center handles over ??? "911" Emergency Calls, and ??? non-emergency calls per month.
The Communications Center is the critical link between community members and Deputies, Officers, Medical and Fire first responders in the field. When you call the Communications Center, you will speak with a highly trained dispatcher, whose mission is to provide a high level of quality service. Modoc Communications Center
The Modoc County Sheriff's Office Dispatch and Communications Center provides law enforcement dispatch services for the Office of the Sheriff, Alturas Police Department, Modoc Medical Center/Ambulance, Surprise Valley Ambulance, thirteen special district Fire Departments as well as approximately ten other entities. The Modoc County Communications Center is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the entire county. Modoc County Communications Center Dispatchers answer all incoming 911 calls for assistance.
Modoc County Dispatchers answer incoming telephone lines at the Sheriff's Office and they represent the first line of service to our community. Our Dispatch and Communications Center serves a population of approximately 9,500 within a service area of 4,200 square miles. On average, the Communications Center handles over one thousand calls per month, in addition to approximately one hundred fifteen, Emergency "911" calls.
